What is a Cisco UCM + LDAP Sync Directory Import? #
With CUCM directory imports, there is an option to sync up to five additional LDAP directory attributes that are not included in the original list of CUCM fields. These values are saved in the CUCM database and are not visible in the user interface but will be observable and mappable within ISI Analytics.
Getting Started #
This document provides the instructions for configuring a CUCM+ LDAP sync for use within ISI Analytics. Before you begin, please ensure you have the following:
- Credentials to login to ISI Analytics.
- The “Connector Admin” role and “Directory Admin” is assigned to your user.
- A Cloud Connect server installed and registered.
- A CUCM Connector configured.
LDAP Sync Preparation #
- Log into your Cisco Unified Call Manager administration console
- Navigate to System > LDAP > LDAP Directory
- Use the search function to locate the LDAP Directory and open the configuration
- Under Custom User Fields to be Synchronized…
- In the Custom User Field Name box, enter a name for the customized field that you want to create.
- In the LDAP Attribute field, enter a valid LDAP attribute that exists in the LDAP directory.

- Click the + button to add additional rows
- Click Save to save your changes or Perform Full Sync Now to sync the End User database.
ISI Analytics Directory Import Configurations #
Once the sync is completed, the additional fields that you added will be available in the Mapping & Filters section of your CUCM directory import. To continue configuring your directory import, please refer to the below document:
