UCCX uses an Informix database, so the Informix Driver must be installed on the Cloud Connect server. Follow the steps below to download and install the driver.
Download and Extract the Installer #
- Download the Informix Database installer.
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Inside the extracted folder, locate and unzip the secondary file: ibm.csdk.4.10.TC16W2.WIN.zip
Run the Installer #
- In the newly extracted folder, find installclientsdk.exe.
- Launch Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Navigate to the installer directory. For example, if the installer is in your Downloads folder, run:
cd C:\Users\Downloads\ibm.csdk.4.10.TC16W2.WIN\ibm.csdk.4.10.TC16W2.WIN\ - Start the installation using:
installclientsdk.exe -i gui
Configure Installation Options #
- In the Installation Features section, uncheck all options.
- Then check only:
- Informix ODBC Driver
- West European and Americas under Global Language Support (GLS)
- Click Next.
- The Pre-Installation Summary should reflect the selected options above.
- Click Install to complete the process.
