Manual Import Using Export from Webex #
Export Users from Webex Control Hub #
A Webex Global Administrator will need to complete the following steps
- Login to https://admin.webex.com
- Navigate to Users on the left
- Click Manage Users at the top-right
- Click CSV add or edit
- Click Download CSV
“ - Webex will generate a CSV of all People. This may take a few moments.
- Once generated, the file will automatically download.
Import Exported Information into Infortel Select #
Before completing these steps, an import should already be set up with the name `Manual Webex Import`. If this import does not exist, please work with ISI to set this up.
- Login to Infortel Select
- Navigate to Administration -> Directory
- Click the Settings gear at the top-right and select Directory Import
- In the list of configured Imports, click the Manual Webex Import
- In the Import Source section, click Upload File and select the most recent Webex directory export
- Once the file is uploaded, confirm that the Source File matches the name of the uploaded file. If the uploaded file has the same name as the previous file, it will overwrite the previous file
- Navigate to the Field Mapping tab
- In the Field Mapping tab, verify that the mapped fields are still valid. The gray box at the top indicates the field in Infortel Select that the data is mapped to. The first row of data is the column header from the CSV. The exact fields that are mapped may vary. The fields that are most likely mapped are:
- First Name to First Name
- Last Name to Last Name
- Extension to Extension
- Extension to Phone Number
- Department Name to Department
- Org Level names may vary in Infortel Select
- Org Level names may vary in Infortel Select
- If the mapping does not look correct, please reach out to ISI Support
- Once the mapping is verified, click the Preview button at the top-right
- A window will pop-up showing a preview of all of the mapped information. Every user listed in the Preview will be imported into the system. This information should match what is mapped. Check for things like, do the First/Last names look correct. Are the Extensions phone numbers/extension values? Is the Department field a department?
- If the preview looks incorrect, please contact ISI Support
- Before running the Import, you can use the Email tab to setup an email notification if you’d like.
- Once Preview is verified, click the Run Now button to run the Import
