What is a Report Template? #
A report template creates a defined format and parameters for a report, specifying the available columns and filters. Templates can be run on-demand, shared with other users, or scheduled to automatically generate reports at specified times.
Getting Started #
This document provides the instructions for sharing a Template or managing the users access to a Template. Before you begin, please ensure you have the following:
- Credentials to login to ISI Analytics
- The “Report Admin” or “Report User” role is assigned to your user
- A New Template or Existing Template with Owner or Editor Roles
Share a Template #
1. Navigate to Report Templates under the Reporting heading in the side navigation
2. Click the three-dots to the right of the template you want to share and select Share
3. Specify the users you want to share the template with and the level of access they should have. Type the email address/username of the user and press enter to validate. Once they are validated, their full name will be displayed. The template can be shared with multiple users of the same role. Click Save to save your changes.
View or Manage the Shared Users #
1. Navigate to Report Templates under the Reporting heading in the side navigation
2. Click the three-dots to the right of the template you want to share and select Share
3. To remove access, click the trash icon to the right of the user
4. To edit access for a user, click the Select Role dropdown next to the user and change their role
5. Click Save Changes when you are finished with your changes.
