Install and Register Cloud Connect

Getting Started #

This document provides the instructions for installing Cloud Connect and registering it with ISI Analytics. Before you begin, please ensure you have the following:

  1. Credentials to login to https://app.isianalytics.com
  2. The “Connector Admin” role is assigned to your user.
  3. A Windows server that meets the minimum requirements available here.

Create a Cloud Connect Server #

  1. Login to: https://app.isianalytics.com/
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Connectors page, then click Cloud Connect Servers.
  3. Next, click
  4. Enter a name to identify the Cloud Connect Server. Optionally, enter contact information for the server and any other helpful information in the comments section.  When complete, click Save.
  5. The newly created Cloud Connect Server will appear in the list and show as “Offline”.

Install Cloud Connect #

  1. If you do not already have the Cloud Connect software, click the and copy the installer to the Windows Server you want to install to.
  2. Right Click the installer and select Run as administrator
  3. Click Yes, to approve the installer is able to make changes to the system.
  4. Click Yes again to begin the installation.
  5. The installer will begin extracting the necessary files.
  6. If dependencies are required, the installer will install these automatically.  Click Install to continue.
  7. Once the dependencies are finished installing, click Next to start the Cloud Connect installation.
  8. If you would like to install to the default location, click Next. Otherwise, use the browse button to navigate to a new location, then click Next.
  9. The Data path is used to locally store data before it is delivered to the cloud. Ensure there is sufficient drive space to meet your organization’s needs. Click Next to use the default location. Otherwise, use the browse button to navigate to a new location, then click Next.
  10. A progress bar will open showing status of the installation.
  11. The following screen determines if automatic updates are enabled for Cloud Connect. It is strongly recommended to use the auto update feature to ensure that your system stays up to date with the latest options available.

Register Cloud Connect #

  1. The last step registers Cloud Connect and allows for configuration using a browser.  Select this option if you already have credentials to ISI Analytics and the “Connector Admin” role.

    • If you do not have credentials, you can register later by choosing the option from the system tray.
  2. A browser will launch, directing you to login to ISI Analytics. After logging in, you will be presented with a list of Cloud Connect Servers. Select the name of the Cloud Connect Server you created above.
  3. Your Cloud Connect Server is now registered and can be setup using the configuration pages.
  4. Cloud Connect is now Online and the status can be seen under the Cloud Connect Servers list.
