What is a Report Template? #
A report template creates a defined format and parameters for a report, specifying the available columns and filters. Templates can be run on-demand, shared with other users, or scheduled to automatically generate reports at specified times.
Getting Started #
This document provides the instructions for creating a new Report Template. Before you begin, please ensure you have the following:
- Credentials to login to ISI Analytics
- The “Report Admin” or “Report User” role is assigned to your user
Adding a New Template #
- Login to ISI Analytics
- Once logged in, browse to the Report Templates page by clicking the Report Templates menu option from the navigation bar.
- Click the button at the top-right.
- Choose one of the built-in templates
Edit an Existing Template #
- Login to ISI Analytics
- Once logged in, browse to the Report Templates page by clicking the Report Templates menu option from the navigation bar.
- Edit an Existing Template by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the template under the Actions heading.
Customize a Template #
ISI Analytics provides a variety of built-in templates that can be customized to your specific needs. A full list of templates and the available fields can be found here.
